SEVASTOPOL | SIMFEROPOL | EVPATORIA | YALTA | FEODOSIA | ALUPKA | SUDAK | KERCH EvpatoriaEvpatoria - Crimea's west coast Evpatoria is on the west coast of Crimea. Evpatoria has a population of about 70,000, and is located one and a quarter hours drive from Simferopol. Evpatoria is one of the world's most ancient towns. It has been in existence for Evpatoria is quite spread out and airy, unlike the more densely populated resorts of the Southern coast. The beaches are sandy and attractive, and the sea here gets especially warm in summer. There is a promenade with the usual bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and in summer swaths of people walk up and down it giving the place a very festive atmosphere. This part of the Black sea of Crimea does not offer the tourist sights and the exotic flora that the South coast does, however it is well worth a visit as it has some of Crimea's better beaches, and the town itself is particularly well kept and pleasant to stroll around. |
